Re: Sounds like state beaches and parks are shut down..

KL is owned by the State Wildlife Conservation Board but operated by Yolo under a long term lease. Shutting down some ramps while leaving others open will tend to push everyone onto the open ramps, increase crowding and reduce social distancing. Seems counterproductive. All open or all closed is the safest way to reduce contact or eliminate it.

Well YOLO county shut down Knights Landing and Clarksburg ramps. For some reason Yolo Elkhorn will remain open.

I just got a reply back from Sutter and Tisdale is open but they don't have permission to put their dock in from the state so no dock. Interesting launch since it's an exposed side current there that can shove your boat against the bank but at least it's open.

Is Tisdale open? I looked at it at the end of duck season and it was still closed and it didn't look like the damage was repaired. The person handling the reconstruction for the county made it sound like it wouldn't open this year or if it did not until the end of summer. I recall it going to cost about $300,000 and requiring engineered plans and going through the bidding process.

likely, people are not following social distancing on the rivers. At Verona on Saturday I saw three guides with full boats. Numerous people on the shore with only one vehicle on the levee. Kind of defeats the purpose of social distancing if you have to cram in a vehicle to get there, although they could have been a mixed household.

If people would follow the safe distancing and use some common sense maybe it will stay open. People did not listen in Lake county and they shut the whole county down

Do you think county boat launches will be next? Tisdale, Elkhorn and Knights Landing are getting some stripers now.
