    they where biteing on chiken livers and anchovies mostly the anchovies there were olote in my catfishes stomach

    whent to uvas res. saturday night and caught only one four pounder but onother guy out there caught a 13 pounder.

    Hey Thanks for the info guys.
    I knew UVR was Union Vally Resivior But just couldn't get that out of UVASLOL ;D always nice to know of news possiblities of places to fish...

    There is definately a good catfish population for the lakes size. Mostly 1/2 to 2 pounds but there are some to 10 pounds.
    A few nice big bass still live in there also (at least five 7+ pounders that I have personal knowledge of). 8)

    No really, it's a reservoir in the south bay located in Gilroy. I don't think that the lake has received any plantings from the city or DFG for over 4 years now. Might be some hold-overs in there tho'. Maybe some lunkers too.
