    Thanks for the help guys.I'm actually taking all these helpful hints, fishing spots, and some recipes that I'm finding on the salmon ,striper ,and sturgeon boards, putting them in their own folders and keeping it on my boat.Any fish I catch I will post on these bourds along with the where and what on. ;D

    Know_ Excuses,
    There are lots of good spots in the main river to fish between the Rio Bridge and Chain Island below Sherman Lake. Try anywhere along the edge of the main channel on the East side. I like the area between buoy 12 and 16. You can launch in Rio vista, at Brannon Island State Park or Sherman Lake (can be a problem at low tide) depending on where you’re fishing.

    For starters Rio is great. Start at light 36a in about 30 foot of water,then mosie on up to 43-48 on the edge of the channel. Theres always fish in there just hard to catch. For me that is :-/ Alot of the guys like it up there but not I ;)

    The best thing to do is to catch up by reading previous posts because chances are, there is a thread that already contains the information you're looking for.**I also is beneficial to look for specific names of areas and other key words using the search function.

    Hi There
    I am knew to the boards and the rio vista area.I have always fished up near verona but I have my boat in minor slough now and I am gonna start sturgie fishing here pretty soon.Any decent spots around the rio vista area you guys could suggest would be great. ;D
