    Re: Humboldt Bay Party Boats?

Two of my neighbors are ex commercial fishermen and both are saying that the second half will be great and the fish will be a lot bigger.

I'll be working my ass off in rehab for this knee so I get a release to drive, I still need to catch a 50# pacific this year. lol

I'd love to Chris, right now though I'm on the injured reserve list as I blew out the right knee and will be out of action for a few weeks as the sawbones is going to cut on me on 8/3.

I'm on crutches most of the time now darn it. Lol

If all goes well I might get to catch the last part of the ocean salmon season.

    Sometimes getting old really sucks.

    Jan-

Good to hear that there are some other Siniffers in up here. I live in off Little Pond right near the airport. Let me know if you ever want to hit the rivers or ocean.

You might think about fishing out of Trinidad.

I know this guy and he runs a six packer out of there and does quite well.

THe fishing out of Trinidad is a lot better than Eureka as the fish are a lot closer.

Hey HSU Steelie, I live right behind the Ace hardware...we're probably neighbors. ;D

Tom, the Capt. of the 'Jumpin' Jack' is a top notch guy. He only takes 6 out at a time so there is plenty of room. http://members.cox.net/crab/ I am pretty sure he runs salmon trips whe they are in. Howvever, salmon doesn't open up again up here until the middle of august. He also runs Rock cod trips using light spinning gear, its a blast. Another good bet is King Salmon Sport Fishing (Coral Isle is the boat). Hopes this helps!
