    Chris,
Thanks for the info. Sounds like you all had a great time. What did you do with all those fish?

Thanks for that report Fenton still not to late to get up there i do have a question, browns came from below the valley in the merced.

is this the area as you are entering the park? damn i was just up there a month ago with my girl took my pole too and did'nt even wet my line, may go back up one more time before winter sets in.

One thing you need to do is adjust the picture size(640x480 is preffered) in you're camera, lemme try and clean those pics up a bit those are some gorgous fish

A little better not much i could do,

    back from yosemite back country/valley

me and my cuz, spent 4 nights 5 days in the back country and the rest in the valley last week. i got around 40 bows and 20 or so mix of browns and brookies over the week. he got about 1/3 of that. browns came from below the valley in the merced. took some pix, while in the back country, ran out of shots on camera when in the valley. so no brown pix. :( but i did land a nice 19 incher! twitching rapals in the river. biggest brookie and bow, i posted pix of them. what worked? in the high country spinners and fly with clear boobers, rapala or castmaster not a bite! a spoon worked once and i got a nice size one with a pic. got the biggest bow and a few others as the spinners were sinking in the lake. spinners and rapalas worked in the merced. so far for me merced has the best brown fishing ive encountered. it was the best vacation i've been on! no bears though, :( did see a marmet. 8) got to talk some smack at the pack(lazy)train people though. i hate poop in my campsite and on the trail!!! >:( a few pix are a lil blurry, i was suprised on how big a fish could come out such a lil lake, it was smaller then fuller lake! its pic with my foot in it. fish about 20in :o
