    Re: thieves at it again

I would not condone dangerous weapons for repelling thieves. There are many other available defenses and offenses to take. My boat is in my back yard ......Jetspray

Check craigslist. Thieves aren't really smart and like to sell their stolen goods on there. I hope you guys catch them.

    Re: thieves at it again

I'm sorry to hear that. It is hard to believe that someone else will protect your property as if it were their's. I hope it was insured.

I have heard of crews that will come and stake out your place and do a mockup of your property to steal all the electronics and outboards. All in under 5 min. This is more of a common thing down south and in Florida/Gulf/etc...

I don't condone deadly force, but a good dog will scare most people away and a sensor-activated floodlight. I do enjoy shooting trap and hunting. My sidearm of choice when pig hunting is a S&W 329PD and when the 2-legged varmints are a problem such as when fishing up in the backcountry in the Trinity Alps...I prefer a Sig Sauer. Also, I keep my little, alert pomeranian closeby. Good looking out on that Don.

To bad you could not have caught them in the act. You could have taken them on a long oneway boat ride. I wonder about the Marina's and how safe your boat is there. This is the first year I have left my boat in the water for striper season. I think I may pull it out this week. Retired.

    Rats, rats, rats!!!!

In fishing, I throw myself away and find myself again and again.
