Did you run the naked Ricky or just PRF's ?????
100 plus degs. They better be nice fish.
Doggie it's east of fresno about 40 minutes. My avatar pick is just about the location of PRF's secret hole.

Intersting, since finding this forum, I have read three post regarding "flats."
I assumed the posts were referring to Scotts Flat, in which, locals call the flat. The kicker is, towards the very back of the lake is a bouy and shortly after is Deer Creek. the area in between the bouy and mouth of the creek normaly is a good fishing area.

Re: hot days on the flat

Been wanting to go out there again, but the high temps have kept me away. I might have to make an early morning trip this week and see if I can finally catch something there!

Went to Shaver a few times and pulled in some nice bows and kokanee.

    Thanks for the report.

    hot days on the flat

Hot days in more than one way. Needed to take my little boat out and put it through the paces before I take it to Eagle. It doesn't get much use since I got the pontoon. Thanks to my brother-in-law. Started out catching planters which got boring real quick. So we moved out in front of Deer Creek out past the buoys and WHAM. Triple hookup. I didn't know which one to grab. Being the old fart that I am starting to become I lost both of mine. But thank God for the wife who always stays calm, she landed a nice 19in bow. Over the next hour we put 7 more in the box all from 17 to 21 in. We quit because of the heat. But when we quit the fish were still hitting. All fish were taken on PRF at 25 to 30 ft. I may have to go try the boat out again this week, you can not be to careful.
