sorry for the late a$$ report,
but its a report anyway......last sunday 20th
ano neuevo island....

fished ano on sunday with about 20 boats
which included steve on mistress and
barbra on barefoot'n 2 with a couple of others
these are all local santa cruz boats and friends
when north of the island to try some new grounds
so when the island close's I can fish the overflow...lol
took a friend up there who's new to ocean fishing, and
took limits of lings and cod....blacks,2reds,2olives
and some blues for good luck......
lings came on sm. blues, octopus....40ft
rockfish on crocks and fishtraps....
posted the lings, as the rockcod everyone knows
what they look like....lol

and we had jumpers too
just like the tuna guys other there,
are were the wrong kind.....

and last but not least is a shot
of steve on [mistress] and daughter "mo" with her giant ling
she caught hitchhiking a ride....lol
they fished not more than 80yds away with live bait...

the forbidden zone, and has good fish too.....

all in all a great day, we threw back so many fish
in the morning that were too small for the day and
then started saying , you know we better start keeping
a few of these there not getting any bigger.....lol
thats it, thats my story and I'm outta here......

Nice fish, we were out there last Sunday too.
We just rocked the Vermilion with 12 to about 5lbs.
It makes you wonder why there closing it?

Intimadator,if you look at the map that they are closing almost every point !.That shuts off almost all the good rockfishing spots.The PETA types are behind this,and they have most of the fish and game commishion in there back pocket! Its just a matter of time before they expand Pt.Reyes no take zone,tommalas pt,ft.ross,salt point,etc. >:(
