I got one 17#er and we had one shaker to the boat. The bite picked back up a little around 3pm to about 5pm. I saw TONS of fish boated. Fishing was good by any standards. There where hundreds of boats!!! OMG, I though discovery and Verona was bad. This was truly combat boat fishing at its finest!

Thanks for the report Guy.
I've got a full crew headed out tomorrow for Rockfish, camping overnight at Westside, then Salmon on Wednesday.
With the line being so long, I'll probably launch before 5 am, turn on the radar to ensure I don't bump into another boat on the way out LOL.

We killed it yesterday. 10 fish up to 38 pds. 5 were over 20.

Watermelon Apex was by far the best. A red Krocodile caught a 25pdr all the rest on the apex. Not even a bump on the bait. Fished from 5-5.

The jellys were popping downrigger rods so we used 2lb balls on 4 of the 5 rods with braid. The 5th rod had a Deep 6 and the spoon. By the end of the day we were running 4 apex's and a spoon cuz the bait was just not hitting!!

Good luck boys!
