I guess I had a little too much fun last night. Woke up not feeling my best but slowly started feeling human about 8am. So I decided I would still go fishing. Mike was already at work. I didn't get to the lake until 9:30 and that's late for me.

So I get to the lake, Rent my boat and bring the trolling motor and battery etc to the dock and then go park the truck. Halfway to the boat I realize that I had left the fishing backpack at home! Everything is in there. Fishing license, phone, Camera, food, my hat etc.
I just left everything there next to the boat and had to drive back to Concord then back to the lake where I paid another seven dollars to enter. It was 10:15 before I finally was on the water. UGH!

Alas fishing was slow. But the weather was amazing! Calm water and a t-shirt. In winter no less! I had many bites while drifting but was only able to bring in one 13" trout on power eggs and a power worm. Released.
But I did see a couple full stringers so they are out there they just didn't want to play with me.
Around 2pm the wind picked up and it got chilly again, coat back on. I was off the water at 3pm. This coming Sunday will probably be our last fishing day of 2013. I sure hope it's a good one! And it won't be at Lafayette. lol.
Then it will be time to reset all my totals for the year over again.
Here are a few pics and one of my Grumpy Cat plush Santa gave me just because it's AWESOME!

Hope y'all had a Merry Fishmas!
