Hey all, JW & Partner AKA Sal & Judy, whom we usually see on the salmon board, have their very own Olive oil. Several of us were given a bottle with a personalized label at the Amador fest. Sal told me this oil has a very fruity taste, I can't wait to try it and will post some pictures of the dish I end up making with it. If these two are half as good at making olive oil as they are at catching salmon, this will be some killer stuff. Check it out, www.loosegooseranch.com

Thanks Sal & Judy, Very cool. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

That is cool Kneedeep If I had gotten it I don't know if I would even want to use it. Just keep it on the shelf for the cool label. 8-)

I've been using it since I got it. Very very nice and it does have a very favorable fruity taste to it. I can't quite put my finger on it but it is very nice.
Thank you Sal and Judy I will keep an eye on your web site for the next time you have some for sale.

Wow! Thanks for posting this one, Kneedeep. I just put that link in my cooking favorites. As I travel throughout the Sierras I find small Mom and Pop olive oil producers and if they're open for tasting I pull in. It's one thing finding a good olive oil for cooking, it's another thing to find some specialized brews for dipping and salad dressings, or just for drizzling over pasta and other dishes. I hunt for fruity blends, but some of my favorites are grassy, spring type oils. I'll give these guys a try. And you're right: if they can produce olive oil like they catch salmon it ought to be great. Besides, I'd rather support a Sniffer.

And they have meat goats, too. If you are not accustomed to goat meat give it a try. 8-)
