I just tried them out the other week and they were ok. *Still gotta get used to them. *I bbq'd them with lime and hotsauce. *How you guys like to eat them?

don't matter, I'll eat them raw,cooked,fried......latley it's been deep fried ::)

At the cost of oysters these days raw in the most economical: If you hold on to one slippery end you can swallow them and then pull them back for another go. [smiley=chowtime.gif]

1. Raw: with ponzu sauce, soy sauce and wasabi, or tabasco and lemon

2. BBQ: garlic/herb butter and champagne reduction, or spicy BBQ sauce

3. Fried: Breaded with lemon and tartar sauce or lots of malt vinegar or on a sandwich

4. Oystershooters (special occasions only): layer cocktail sauce w/ lots of horseradish, oyster, and a shot of fine vodka and shoot it! [smiley=chowtime.gif]

On a 1/2 shell ( raw ) with some kick-butt Horse radesh, tobasco and salsa. Oh, don't forget the Grey Goose extra dry martini with a mini pickle 8-)

Any way I can get my hands on them :P Me and krzy were at Cache creek a few weeks back for MMA fights and I ate like 2 1/2 platters of raw oysters....yumm yumm

i like to marinade some shallots in a little vodka and soy sauce.spoon a small amount on a freshly shucked oyster and mmmmmm :P
