My wife's company chartered the Kahuna out of Moss today (employee's only,,Asshats). Lisa came home with her limit's of rock and some nice Lings. She was the high stick on the lings catching hers up to 12lbs and leaving a nice stack on the deck for her guy co-workers that had trouble box'n the Lings. WTG sweetheart. I sent her with the gear we use north, and my favorite rod/reel. Bad news she snapped my rod (Penn Bluewater Carnage 800lx) popping out a ling that rocked her, she recovered the fish but the rod snapped 4" from the tip. Sheetz happens, The hot set up was a 6oz lead spoon loaded with squid and an artificial chartreuse squid above it tipped with cut pieces of squid. The Lings love these spoons that I make. They fished 120-180' and the rock fish was a slow steady bite on fly's. My wife is awesome, I'm definitely a lucky man to have a wife that loves hunting and fishing the way I do,,,gregg
