Stocker bow got bonked since I wanted to try a new smoked trout recipe. Well, this is what was in its stomach along with a few baby crawdads and some digested fish. Anyone care to guess what it is? :P

The meat was actually a bit orange, so this fish was probably one of the remaining ones from a plant back at the beginning of spring.

I think it's a mouse!! Caught a few big trout with mice in them.

There are "mouse pattern" steelhead flies for a reason!

Yeah, didn't know that truck trout could end up feeding like wild fish do. That mouse had one unlucky night.

Full finned beauty. Thinking about hiking in after seeing that fish.

We saw a few little natives come after our worms and one big one that either was a brown or a larger stocker that put on some serious weight.

I'd also guess it's a mouse. We used to use mouse plugs ( the ones for bass ) to catch browns on the Moke when I was a kid.
