Here is a lure we tested last year and since they worked so well on the kokes we have decided to put it into our product line.
Introducing our new Mini Skirt Trolling Hoochie.
They are a new Slim-line 1 3/4 inch long hoochie and have been assembled using premium 10# mono line, VMC fastgrip #4 octopus hooks and premium glow and UV beads. They have been assembled in such a way that the skirts stay flared open. Note: The diameter of these hoochies is approx. 1/2 the size of a regular hoochie.

A penetration power 15% higher than that of an ordinary point. The first point with 3 micro-barbs. The upper barb, placed close to the point, guarantees swift hook-bite at the slightest solicitation. Two lower micro-barbs prevent the fish slipping off, even when the line is slack.

I love the hoochies with the smile blades. They are the only kind I use.

What speed do you troll the smile blade hootchies? I know the smile blades can go super slow, is that how you work these?

Behind our 5 inch dodger at 0.9 to 1.2 mph. Althought they can be trolled up to 1.8 without any problems.

As Ken suggests .9 to 1.2 is deadly. ;)

All, I Myself, like MM, *only liked the smile blades. Once

Till last year when I proved to my self the small nickel glow blades that are used on Ken’s Pro Glow Regular size rigs really worked excellent and " better @ times" on the green,-Chartreuse & pink and others I used. Like the one in this photo

Early season Killers for me.

Ken tryed Oroville again and the Mini Shirts did the trick again.It seems all they need is one of those skirts behind a dodger and bam game on.I have caught fish on every color so far but yesterday was a purple day.All fish try to swallow those mini's. * http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj14/DuramaxDan454/Oroville2008012-1.jpg * * * * * *http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj14/DuramaxDan454/Oroville2008003-1.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj14/DuramaxDan454/Oroville2008004-1.jpg * * * * *http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj14/DuramaxDan454/Oroville2008018-1.jpg * * * * * * * * *

Good Job, Duramax Dan!!
Glad to see the new Mini Skirts putting fish in the boat. Had another sniffer report from Don Pedro over the weekend about the Mini Skirts, 2 1/2 and a 3 lber on the pink glow and the white glow behind one of our crush glow dodger. In 90-102 ft. of water.

Quoting Duramax Dan *it was a Purple day.

Thanks for the post Dan.

Just wanted to pass along that we had a very productive day with your new mini Skirts Ken.

I also found the Super Glow dodgers working amazingly, with the small Hoochie’s.

We had fish on all three colors with the Mellon working well and the Rainbow has been Vito’s favorite on Oroville since he tried one last year.

It is sure nice to have a product you can call your “Lucky Dodger” Thanks for making this gear for us.

Willbilly, Good job putting the Mini Skirts to work!! It is amazing how well purple is working again this year. However the combo of pink and purple has proven to be another go to. These skirts really do put fish in the boat. Can't wait to try them on the UVR kokes once again.

I think that purple and pink is going to be the hot ticket for the Gorge. That is one sweet hoochie!
