View Full Version : First buck ever

Got my first buck ever!! Took it with a bear cruiser bow ,full metal jacket arrows, and rage hypodermic broadheads! Practiced for months until I could not miss the paper plate from 50 yards. Scouted the private property for months got his pattern down (almost every day between 6:30 and 7:30 pm) and at 7:25 on the 9th day of bow season it all payed off ! I got the buck I was after he is a beautiful 3 x 4 in velvet . This is a big deal for me because I'm disabled (bunk right hand from old injury and p.t.s.d. along with severe panic disorder) so I can barely pull the bow back I wouldn't be able to if I didn't have a special trigger release and then with my panic disorder it's really hard to calm down enough to even sit in the blind! But I did it!

Great buck! Nice to see a proper picture with a tag attached! My buddy got a small buck yesterday, I got busted by three at 80 yards. Hoping I can fill my AO tag.

Deer was walking when I let the arrow go I was aiming right behind the shoulder hit about 4 inches from there (only because the deer was walking) about 35 yards arrow went clean through both lungs and out the other side stuck in the ground he didn't make it 100 feet
