Is there a good catfish bait that turtles won't bite on or am I cursed to find the shelled fiends on my lines no matter what?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

I don't know, but after waiting an hour for a bite, I would be happy to catch a turtle! :D

I fish alot of places with alot of turtles but usually don't catfish there. They place I caught most of mine were at lake berryessa at pleasure cove catfishing. One I threw a bobber way out past this tree with a night crawler on it and it instantly went down. Then a long drag back it was a turtle.

I fish mostly in creeks and rivers in northern OK.
