I was there about a week or to ago. Showed up pretty early in the morning. Used nightcrawlers and tossed some lures. All kinds of bass jumping. NO CATS. While heading back I talked to the old man who sits on the bench every other day directly across the first pier... He said for a couple weeks he hasn't seen anything pulled out. I think Chabot is a little slow right now. :(

I was there on the 11th all the way to racoon point from 7 to 930, there was at least 8 people fishing but only two catfish caught, right at 8:30, I caught one on Mack not sure what the other one was caught, but that is consider slow 8 people and only two fish

I would like to hear the report. I have fished there twice with no luck. I have almost given up on the lake.

Good Luck

How late can you fish there?

you have to be out by 10 and from what I understand they enforce that rule really well...

That is what I thought. I guess you could get an hour or so of fishing after dark.

Fished there a couple weeks ago near the first dock. Threw out liver and mackerel. I got one bite in almost 6 hours from 8-2. No one else caught anything. It pissed me off because I read their reports about the hot bite week after week. Their reports are worthless.

went back again last night and the fishing was about the same as my last report. at bout 8:30 they started biting and between like 6 people 5 fish were caught in about 20 minutes. things kinda slowed down after that, there were about 3 more caught until I left at 9:45. I unfortunately left with a skunk but hey thats fishin right? but anyway the fishing is pretty good at chabot.
