Arrived at the lake about 7 am -- launched at Lightning Tree -- no other boats in sight. Trolled north to the island and had one hit on a rapala. Very tough bite for us -- finally managed 9 by quitting time. All 13 to 16 inches. Talked to several other boats that were catching a few. A group of cops up for the week had fat rainbows to 24 inches in camp. Here is a photo of Ken from Idaho with a very fat 20 1/2 incher. We kept a few for dinner. Water temp was 56 degrees. Some grass in the north end, not bad down by the Island. Most of our fish came from the east side of the island about 12 feet down, on gold/red dot Jakes spoon and red dot frog #1 needlefish at 2.0 mph. The lake is almost full and in great shape!

Thanks for the report, it's been a long time since I've seen the ramp at Lightening Tree in the water. That's good news.
