Went out from Berkeley this morning at 6:45, high tide 6:30. Fished the flats starting outside and north of the end of the Berkeley pier in 30 ft. of water. Beautiful morning, blue skies with fog all around, SF skyline, bridges and islands going in and out of the fog. Wind pushed us back towards Berkeley but the outgoing tide kept us from drifting too fast. Caught 10 or 12 shaker halibut and two keepers, barely 22 inches. Also made a few drifts in the calmer water east of Treasure Island, got a few bites, small halibut and one small striper. Came in at noon.

We left early out of Richmond, got live bait in SF and fished the central bay between 35 and 15 foot of water for two halibut to 26 inches. We also got a bunch of shorts. We fished Paradise in 45 foot of water during the low and caught 5 spiny tooth shark around 5-6 feet...released to entertain another kid some day. The kids had a blast with the shark and the Halibut made for great dinner. We did see some salmon caught in Racoon straights. Lots of action.
