Check it out. I certainly want to lower the mortality rate of the fishing I do. When I want a meal or a few meals, I'll meat hunt, but everything else, strictly C&R. I leave the fish in the net, grab the (barbless) hook and get it out. Then I leave the fish, in the net, until it fully comes back. The less time out of the water, the better for the fish. Just because the fish swims away, doesn't mean it survived the next 15 minutes.

There are a bunch of us on this board that practice C & R on a regular basis. Thanks for the thought and post. It really comes to mind when you see someone break the rules or even chainging them from a legislative perspective as well......Jetspray
