Off Bird Rock and down to Elephant Rock. Use your sonar to locate rocky bottom.

That's where I brought by two grand daughters last year and now they're "hooked" on fishing.

X2 for bird and elephant. Note, you canít fish around bodega head as it is a protected area. Also, if you want to make a longer run, there is great fishing north above the river.

I've had the majority of my success in the Bird Rock area fishing from 90ft. to 130ft. Depending on the tides, I fish 10-16 oz of weight. If your boat is large enough, the trip up North is productive. Know the swell and winds before making the trip North and be careful if you cut through Bodega Head. I recommend going South around Bodega Rock if you're new to the trip and swells. Forecast looks excellent the next two days.
