Do they plant kats in Amador? i thought that bob the owner did, but i am not sure. if he does, around what time of year does he?

I dont think he does. Maybe DFG but I doubt it. They can reproduce pretty well on their own I believe.

They HAVE, and sometimes do, but it's not a regular thing. Even so, the catfishing there can be very good!

around what time of year do they start bitting and what is usually the hot bait?
p.s. what is lake amadors number? becouse when i try to call them (209-274-4739) it doesent work, it says that the number has been disconnected, Thanks for the help,

1-2 pounders were planted just about every summer around June/July in years past. They havent done it in a while though.

This past weekend I caught some.... I spotted them and jigged some plastic worm in front of them.... and BAMM.... caught 7.... 5 were in the high 30in.....

Hey all...I called Amador yesterday and the catting is rated as excellent with sun dried chovies and livers being the hot baits.

when ever i call that number i just get a fax machine sound, or it says that the number is out of order. *:-[
