Good fishing, keep it real natural, worms slider #8 at the crack of dawn.. I've pulled many out, twenty years fishing.

From the big boat ramp take the west trail along the south side of the lake,be careful steep ravines. Move up to about 1\4 mile, you will see deep water lots of cover, habitat.good luck

Hey Plunger,

I have been fishing Sonoma since its conception also, mainly for bass and steelies, the only thing that has always eluded me are the wiskerfish. i read your blog and had a few questions if you dont mind, The spot you are talking about, is this right across from the marina in the big cove? I have tried yorte creek a few times, seen a couple landed but i havent had any luck. i have been told by a guide on the lake that most of the cats like to hang out in the tree branches, have you tried this method?
