I am going to take my 4yr. old nephew fishing for the first time. They live near Placerville, so I need a spot close to there. I've never fished that area, and wanted him to land a few fish his first time out. It doesn't matter what kind, even blue gill. Thanks

Cameron Park Lake, Try drop-shotting a green roboworm with a chart. tail. Spots to try are the little bridge on the Northeast side of the lake or southside on the point, cast towards orange float. Took my son out and had a great time good luck 8-). Try the island for bluegill
