Well it went like this, Byran and i headed out about 6am and threw swimbaits and some homemade jobs south of marker 18 with 20 plus fish for Bryan and 18 for my self, half were shakers and the rest were not over 7-8lbs. but still a kick in the pants.

We trolled the rest of the morning up river and down river with no results. Dropped off Bryan at noon and picked up Dirty Dan we trolled out the rest of the afternoon with only one hook up..

At about 6pm the swimbait bite picked back up with 7 for Dirty Dan and about the same for myself. We headed back about 8 and called it a day...... :)

For sure if the wind stays down you should do pretty good with a fly rod.

Good luck C.J. 8-)

Nice update Ash. What kind/color swimbaits were you dragging? Don't think I'll make it out this weekend but it would be nice to know for future trips. I usally bait fish but want to try trolling and fly fishing for line sides.
