If your stuck on shore theres good striper fishing in the cove behind berkely marina on a high tide, rattletraps and kastmasters in gold with a little bucktail.

you can go to pt.pinole, rodeo, or crockette. All are within a couple minutes drive of richmond. If youre going for sturgeons you will need heavier line. The 12lb will take you a long time to reel a big one in.
I fish around richmond every weekend so might run into you sometime. :)

Like Buddy stated, Ditch the 12Lb test and go at least 20-30lb mono. Good luck! :)

yessir nayr rodeo bait and liquor comes handy when you need bait at night, but their prices are a bit higher than other tackle shops.
