Howdy y'all.

I heard a local talking about stripers in Tomales Bay, any of you guys have any luck?

I grew up in Dillon Beach and never heard of anyone catching Stripers in Tomales Bay, an occational small sturgeon deep in the bay. They used to catch Stripers off Dillon Beach in the spring. I've fished Tomales Bay for years and think while drifting for Halibut we would of caught a few Stripers at some point but never heard or seen any caught.

Old fishing books claimed there are stripers there, your best bet would be where, creeks and streams dump into it! There always looking for a easy meal, do the math ;)

A retired Game warden for DFG I once was talking to told me of the same.
Stripers were once fairly common over at Tomales.
All the years of fishing there I haven't caught one as of yet.
Good Luck to those who try.
If I targeted them I would try structured areas and off the channel near the eel grass.
May catch a Butt or two in the process.
That wouldn't be a bad thing either.
