so i went out this morning with my bother who is here visiting from the marines.was realy stoked cus i hadnt seen him in a long time.we launched outa redwood city marina. nice weather no wind perfect, put the boat in the water fired her up and parked the truck. came back to boat and she was dead, tried to get her going and nothing. spent the next 2 flipn hours trying to figure out why i wasnt getn any spark. came to the conclusion that it was either the coil or modulator, which realy tickd me off cus motor is only two years old and well taken care of. so i waited for kragen to open went and got my parts installed them and she fired right up ;D
i was to my spot and poles in the water by 10:30, no bites or nothing till about 12:30 my bro hooked this 46" green sturgy his first one ever! after that it was pretty slow we hooked a few 36" leopards and called it a day by 4. other than the boat probs in morning i would say we had an ok day specialy since we missed the best part of the morning.

hey tone, we was at bouy 17 in 25ft had plenty of arches on depth finder they just didnt wanna bite. i think its cus of the realy strong high pressure system that rolled in in the morning. its gunna be with us all week so i am thinking the deeper the better, the berometric pressure has less affect on them down there.

Stronger pressure is actually a good thing when your sturgeon fishing.
However, congrats on your greenie! They are my favorite fish!!! Here is your pic fixed a little. You got to represent a gym of a fish like that a little better than that other washed out pic. ::)
Thanks for the report, ZACK!

Kooldad, I saw you pass by I was in a silver/blue Lund with my Lab . I may have been by the pumphouse between bridges or the east side past the tressel at that time.

I thought you might have been down at #18 and was temped to make a move but the sharks were eating the bait and I was running low.

Great job on the greenie or any sturgeon, I don't know how the other boats did, no one answered up on the radio. I called it quits at 1:45.
