Congrats to you all. My Dad and I were going to launch out of Sherman yesterday and make the long run to Pittsburg, but decided not to. I'm sure you all had a great time.

later,
Roland

Chris, What kind of dictionary are you using that defines what you did at the end of the day as "landing" a sturgeon ???

Folks, don't let him fool you. He got it to within 6 inches of the net when it snapped the line with one last tail slap :o

We kind of stacked the deck, It was alot of fun ;D
Bassassin started things off with a 50" green
Then a little while later Tank set Iron into Killers rod and passed it off to him for the 61"er.
After a few swing and misses I set Iron into what Killer said was about 55" And what a fight. I am not sure but it felt like a 40 minute battle. We realized why when we saw it, it was wraped and comming in backwards.(ouch) After that I was spent. The store by my house had King Crab on sale $7.99lb and big as% leggs, so I bought 3 1/2 lbs and killer fired up the bbq. Great day. ;D
Sorry the first report was short I got rushed by the screamming baby :o
See ya'll at the dock side derby. I have room for 2 sat. nite-sunday

I called it an ethical swim platform release on Chris's fish. 8) We were in some heavy tide and Chris put a hurting on that Dino. The fish took some great runs and the fight was so good Chris had to strip of his sweatshirt mid-fight, but the Tekota/Lami combo Chris has, along with the maestro working it, was just too much in the end.

Here's killer at work and the 61" he boated after a vicious hookset by tank. As the picture indicates, killer just makes a dino fight look like it's just another day in the office; and for him, it is. ;D

It was another great day on the water. I'm already looking forward to the next time. The company and fishing was great...and those king crab legs? Off da hook.
