When I first brought that picture up those things looked like shark's teeth! The picture shrunk through Moment Of Fame so it doesn't look as mean.. I can't imagine what one would be like thrashin around on the back of the boat! Nice catches, both of em!

FISH ON!

Do the greenies eat the same as the whites? Are they a different color meat?

From what I have heard, Greenies taste like mud :-/
I don't know, cause I never had a green large enough to eat and it's been about 30 years since I ate mud ;D

Green Sturgeon are born a bright golden color and turn green as they grow bigger. The meat is red like beef and does not taste good at all. I caught on in the 70s that measured 72inches and was thought to be a state record. We tried to eat it but tasted so bad we could not. They are doing research now to see if they are indangered because there is not to many caught. The Golden or Green Sturgeon usually hangs out in the ocean at mouths of rivers waiting for food to be washed in to the ocean. There are 17 types of Sturgeon in the world and we are lucky to have the white Sturgeon in our area. The largest of them all and the same as in the Caspion Sea. Rich Lucky Strike
