just pickup a new marine radio, but having trouble picking up channels...what are thw most used channels in the bay and ocean???im tired of hearing the weather station..i think im doing something wrong.. thanks tracker ???

Just put your radio in scan mode. *Then watch the channel indicator. *When ever someone broadcasts in range it will stop on the active channel. *Or just use ch. 68 in the bay/delta that is one of the most popular choices. *That or 72.

You may have your SWR (standing wave ratio) checked you can get a swr tester at West Marine or have it checked at a shop.

It lists the stations that are used in the Bay area for the ocean and the bay. The list the the other guy gave you is not very specific.
