It's 11 am and back with limits. Our numbers were 17/12. Lots of small fish at 40 feet but managed to bring home 4 fish (10#,10#,16# and 23#). Flat calm. We had our limits by 9 am using clear RSK and small green flasher.

We were using Anchovies. 17/12 is straight off Bodega Head in 300+ feet of water, about 3 miles.

Way to go Go_Fish and Brian...

The Salmon should be in close real soon. Has anyone tried fishing around the whistle buoy lately???

Good luck...

After fishing up around the Russian today we headed back toward the harbor and fished near the buoy for another hour or so for nada. Saw a ton of birds diving so we had to give it a shot. Diehards that we are, but there was still one other trailer in the parking lot when we got back. Oh well, another day! FISH ON!
