Picked up by Jetspray @ 0445. A stop in Carson City for a fast breakfast and off to Pyramid. Arrived at Spider point just before 0700 hoping for the type of action we had there last week. The action was indeed hot and heavy from 0700 to 0715. On my second cast i felt my offering stop dead in the water around 20 feet from shore then lure and fish headed east for a hundred feet or so. 5 minutes later Dave netted a nice 28 inch 8 pound male LCT. I had just got the fish back in the water when Dave get one on. This was another nice LCT of around 7 pounds. As Dave was returning his fish another angler caught a nice 25 inch hen. Our expectations now are for an epic day but as fate would have it these were the last trout we were to see on the beach a Spider. :( Around 0815 Bigdewy and his son arrived to try the fishing. Around 0915 Okie arrived. Sorry guys. You should have been there earlier. ::) :) The weather was typical Nevada. Snow in Washoe Valley. Rain In Sparks and Sutcliff. Clouds in the morning morphing to a beautiful Pyramid Afternoon with a lake of glass. Nice fishing with you again Duane and meeting your son. Nice seeing you again Bill. Passed through Wonderful Wadsworth on the way home and stopped at Arbys for a late lunch. Ran into Willbilly who we saw earlier in Mongos boat. Nice meeting you Willbilly. A wonderful day.

Second Chance I think mongo said they only hooked a couple up by warrior point. They had been fishing for two days when we saw them. Nice to carry a portable radio on channel 69, we all yell out up there........Jetspray

yes, it was beautiful day and good to see you all again, i hope you're not blaming me for the slow bite.
cc, i think i saw that road you were telling me about, next time i go to spider i'll try it out and see, its really hard walkin up that hill with my bad ankle, when i got home i just made it to the couch, wrapped a heating pad on it so i could fix the old lady her dinner when she got home. she said i was crazy for doing that, especially since i didn't catch anything. i just told her she will never understand us.
