yeah sorry you didnt get alot of replies. You probably didnt have alot of the camanche diehards look at it. They are all usually great at sharing info. Next time just title it "camanche help" or something like that and they will coming running to help out!

Sorry I didn't see it either. WE have been using grubs, orange, white, and pumpkin seed color have produced. Putting a contrasting Power egg in front of the grub to be the head is good too. We run the 3" grubs, on a #2 Gamagatsu lite wire hook.

If you want quick easy limits, try Melones from the bank. Its been cranking out lots of limits for weeks now. Might be closer, and the gate fee is only like 6 bucks a car load.

Thank you all for your responses... I made it out to Camanche on 1-3 and you were right anything orange. Started at the narrows, then out to hat. The hot tickets for the day were hot steel and orange apex with a flasher. Heard alot of chatter on the radio about the orange grub, but our boat only landed one fish with that. All in all, had a great start of the year and ended the day with two limits thanks to Captain Mark of Cornell guide service. ;) Fish~on peeps!

Orange grubs behind Orange wedding ring with an orange rocky mountain dodger, Hot steel on my other rod trolling around Hat and up river past the bridge yesterday. Got 2 nice ones and both were late in the day. Nothing early on and there were plenty of boats on the water near hat, for a Tuesday it looked like a spring Saturday morning fishing fleet! better than being at work though!
