Spent last week at Eagle. Fished Monday at Troxel point in the north end for about an hour and a half before the wind blew us off the lake. We managed to land four healthy bows to 3lb. Tues and Wed the storm made it impossible to fish except for the three crazy guys we could see from our cabin out in the middle of it. Not only were they out in it Tues morning but back out in it Tues afternoon. The wind was blowing so hard the whole North end turned mud brown. Not to mention the heavy heavy rain. Thurs and Fri was much better and we were able to catch our limits both days along with releasing several. The lake is very low as most of you know. At the end of our dock it was a foot and a half. We had to use the trolling motor for the first hundred yards before we could use the 50 horse. If the lake does not get normal rainfall this year It could be a sad situation next year.
