Going up to the town of washington, www.riverrestresort.com
anybody ever fish the yuba river near this place?

nope, but the river is very "fishy" looking around there, and they used to plant there (not sure if they do). I would think drifting crickets in the deeper pools would do well. Good luck and let us know how you do!

Sorry this is out of date - but after viewing the website I'm convinced that is the spot my relatives took me to in my first camping outing in 1970's as a young'n, brought back memories, and I know way back then, during day I remember the swimming/rafters; early evening and morning - trout all over....I remember thinking - how come I don't have a pole!!!!
