Nice job on the trout and the salmon today. That salmon at the top left of your first picture is a King. DF&G has made some King and Kokanee plants at DV and a few are caught now and then. Nice bonus fish.

The fishing spirit was on fire fathers day !Hes a great dad who deserved it! Everytime I saw him it was fish on !! After reading the reports I figured they would be deep so I played with all the depths from 10 to 30 ft . First fish went to my old man the Doggfisher . 2 minutes in at the narrows were going 3.5 and he gets hammered on a j9 . We were Trollin for nada for a couple hours , heard many reports of slow
Bites after an early morning frenzy in heron. I decided that since the only fish we *caught was near the top to throw a f9
Out .trolled the dam and heard my pole slam on the holder look back and see the brute a foot out of the water .really wish my pops woulda hooked it,but cmon hes not complainin!!. He thrashed about and when he
got closer to the boat this surly 5 lb trout with full tail decided to spit the lure

by thrashing his head violently . I thought I'd lose him til

I noticed the lure was in his mouth like a dog bone sideways with three trebles firmly locked in. Pops netted
Him and we were like Borat *"High Five!!!" Caught a couple more on the yellow grub at 32 ft in the narrows .
King for the *Fishing Spirit *

Thanks BTH! I remember them dumping fingerling kings also . So how long does it take to grow to 2 lbs in a fishery like DV??? I'll guess 18 months. Google time

Fishing Spirit. I launched right next to you. Small 12 ft. klamath. Bummer on the pull on the motor. Me and my buddy pulled out from the lauch next to you. Went to the damn and trolled OTW 15-30ft with everything we had for nada. Great catch and post! I remeber some time ago about the salmon plant. at least 5 years ago. Didnt hear of the Kokenee plant though. Good info. Thanks all!
