PF, Welcome to the boards. My last outing on pedro two weeks ago resulted in 2 fish in the box and 3 lost. It was definatly a early bite. The 2 trout hook ups were on a mother of pearl apex between 20-35ft. The kings were on a hoochie bite 70-120ft. I do agree with Slapabow McClure will be a hotter bite. Unless you are on a big king hunt and numbers are not what you are looking for. My .02 is you have a better chance at a 5lb.+ king at pedro. Nick

I have friends that are Pedro die hards and their reports are discouraging, a few fish being caught. If you want the 411 on Mc clure I will be there all weekend and would be glad to help you out. The trout bite is off the hook and the kings are starting to show.

Thank's for the info, it looks like pedro would have been a waste of time.
