Hit the lake around six thirty and fished until around 3:30 with Silverqueen and we ended the day with 11 in the boat and many more lost and missed. Our biggest was 4lb 8 oz and all of the fish came on some form of hot steel or fire tiger rapala, kept switching them up. water temp was 53 and all fish were caught on top going 2.5-3.0 mph with every scent known to man *;D

Pleaseure meeting you EddieTee, saw another sniffer driving off with a black boat that had stars, but didnt get to meet them.

Here are some pics:

Most of you cant see it, but Dennis is playing swashbuckler with the two rods, Rich is snagged and they are going back for it and Ken is looking for a way out of the boat :o *;D

Hey there...Nice fish, & great 'nature' photos. Guess we're gonna have to head to Comanche, since Melones is pretty dead. We've been hitting the Delta lately, but I'm sure up for a shorter drive & a hunt for that big trout!

IH, perfect weather, almost a little too hot, definetely shorts weather.

Froggie, between all of these posts of big fish, its hard not to show up out there. I, personally am going to start hitting amador more, but it sure was fun out there today, a day or two out there should get you and Tortuga forgetting about melones for a week or two ;)

Those are some nice fish. *If you catch larger ones like KokeMachine they will cover those blinding white legs at picture time*;D *I'm just jealous that I haven't been able to get out there and give it a try. *Nice bird shots. *I especially like the goose below the Wrong Neighborhood 3 pic. *

The guy landing a fish in one of your photo's was on my boat (No Bad Days...Fern-Dog). Your netting abilities were entertaining to say the least ... but the third time was charm for your wife when you bagged her fish!!!
Nice to see you out there. We ended up with 12 in the boat, lost several, threw one small one back & picked up a nice black bass just near where you put on your netting show for your wifes fish.

Our biggest for the day went 9 1/2 lbs plus we had one at 8 1/4 lbs. See you out on the water again....

Fern-Dog ;D
