Took my Dad out this a.m. for a little trollin. On the water @ 8am. Only two other boats out, that I saw. Started at the mouth with, crawlers, criplures, and raps. Overcast and cool, water was very calm. Too calm, no bites on the first pass. Headed further in twards the river arm. Couple lite bumps on the criplure. Get into the river arm and found em. 7 fish in 3 passes. Byh noon the sun came out and a breeze picked up. Found a spot and they were stacked up pretty good; couldn't get the rapalas to get bit witch was frustrating. Ended the day wit two limits, round 1:15pm. Had 2 doubles and 5 LDRs Bite was good today, not, hot like the last few days. Full moon and cold front probably didn't help.

Heres a couple pix from today

Water was really calm this a.m.
My 5 for the day

Nice work on the limits. Sure is nice to be able to go out during the week instead of combat fishing on Sat-Sunday.

Congrats on limits of fish. So it sounds like there are in the River arm? What was your best color? Hope to see you up there soon. Keep at it, it only gets better!!!!

All fish were on top. Had both drs goin at 5,10,15 and 20ft not a bump. The hot set-up today was a watermelon slingblade/ sliver criplure combo.

party @ pardee.... Wow nice fish. I'm going to add that to the list of lakes to fish. Thanks for the post.

I think there are fish everywhere on that lake; but they are still pretty shallow. It's tough to tell, the fishfinder doesn't show them consistently, when they hang out topside. They may be more concentrated here and there, but close to shore, steep drop off seems to be the key. Just my 2 cents. ;D

:)Heading for Pardee in the am, daughter says grandson HAS to go to school, guess that's what I get for raising her right!!!!!!

Oh well, there will plenty of time to get him out fishing.

Anyone else banking it tommorrow?

:)SB, where you going to be?

I like to fish rainbow point to the mudhole, but I might go to the old dam area first, heard that was pretty good this week-end.

We'll be in a maroon toyota tundra.

I limited out last week over near Porcupine Point...think that's what it's called. I will probably return to the same spot. I drive a White Dodge Ram Quad Cab...might see ya out there. If not, good luck bro.

:)SB- right back at you!!!!!

If we don't get on the bite early, we'll be moving around trying to find them.

I won't be moving unless it's really, REALLY slow. I should be there around 7 I believe.
