Al Marcon and I caught these two limits on 2/2/09 near the houseboats at Mc Clure point using flashers, 1oz of weight and night crawlershttp://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll291/twoelk48/031-1.jpghttp://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll291/twoelk48/010-1.jpg

Then on 2/4/09 I took Kyle and Shawn back where we set a new boat record up in Horeshoe Bend. *Thirty trout in the boat in an hour. *Two limits kept the rest were released.http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll291/twoelk48/021-2.jpghttp://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll291/twoelk48/022-2.jpg. *Guys next time lets use Gulp worms so we don't ahve to rebait. ;D

Great job putting people on fish. 30 fish in a hour and you are worried about baiting hooks. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for the report.

Saturday 2/7/09. trolled various lures for 3 hrs for nada. Put the trolling motor down @ 10Am and started getting fish on a fire-tiger colored spinner that we were tipping with crawlers. Left at 12:30 with 7. One released, 4 lost before we could land them. Six planter size bows and one 14" brookie. Slow seemed to be the key for us. 2-2.4 mph on my outboard may have been too fast. .8-1.0 mph did the trick with the trolling motor. It was a fun day.

The king fishing sucked. We are having a small derby for thsoe interested refered to as a witches hunt Feb 21s launching from Mc Clure Point. Two divisions to sign up for, they are salmon and trout with 5 dollars per person in each division. Winner to be determine by balance beam. More information to come. There will also be one at Don Pedro date yet to be determine but in March.
