so what color power bait works best for yall??

chartreuse or rainbow when the water is murky and red when the water is clear. I usually buy the powerbait with glitter in it. I've also heard good things about the salmon egg peach but have never used it.

The kind that is plastic or metal and looks like a fish ;D.. sorry i had to say that... when i first started out or when im "meat hunting" as i like to put it, usually rainbow or spring green is my best bet. :) Tight Lines - TK

So varied that I almost think it doesn't matter that much, but out of superstition I always put at least one white one on the hook. It's weird though, some days they'll only bite a certain color and I'll swear by that though.

i rarely fish for trout during the day. but IMO i would say ANY COLOR would due. i caught trout all the time with any color that i used. same set up, etc. this was always almost at night though... i dont know if it would make a difference during the day? ;D

Lately, it seems like yellow or pinkish/orange powerbait, the 1989 vintage, works best for me.

PB doesn't work for me in any color. I've caught a couple on yellow corn, but nothing to even speak of. IMO, salmon eggs are the way to go. If you have to fish artificial, I'd say use a glow bug.

I have always had good luck with the Salmon egg flavored powerbait. Its a tan/yellowish color, no glitter

I've always found Chartreuse, Spring Green, Corn, and Salmon peach to be my top producers.

Rainbow Powerbait with glitter has been the all around most successful color I've ever used. It works everywhere. Of course there are times that other colors work better under certain local conditions, but I've never been in a situation where trout are biting Powerbait where you won't catch at least one on Rainbow w/glitter.

I have good luck w/ green, rainbow, and orange. But I always have power eggs to use too, they float better, stay on your hook better, and are cleaner and easier to use. White and bubblegum is what powereggs I usually use.

Chartreuse Gulp. Sometimes I put a little Powerbait on the hook first because it sticks to the hook better. I cover the Powerbait with the Gulp. :)
