All i can really say is "WOW" is ever LOW!!!! First we had to find the North Shore boat ramp. When you go down the ramp, there's a dirt road to the right that leads you back to a low water ramp. At least the ramp was in good condition. There's a dock there too!!! Now it's around 6:30 and were heading to the dam. Marked some fish down in the 40' to 45' range. So i put down four rods from 20' to 50'. I had a rod at every 10'. Trolled the dam area for 3 1/2hrs. With out one hit. So i decided to head up river. Well i might as well troll. Stayed in the river channel on the GPS. When it said 95' it really was only about 55' to 50'. So when you have a rod at 50', you know what happen. So as we trolled up to river mouth, you really have to keep an eye on the depths. It changes really really really fast!!!! As i get out in the middle of know where, I finally have a rod go off. Yes first fish. YEP a Green fish. Then a little further another Green fish. Then a little further another. Thats three fish that i wasn't looking for. Oh Well. Then as we enter the Narrows, it was only 45' deep right in the middle. So after fighting the rods the whole way up i just gave up. No trout and it wasn't getting any deeper. I just should of stayed in front of the dam. At least it 60' to 80' there and no problems. So we picked up our gear and turn the motor off for a little drift lunch around 1:30. I wanted to see just how far we could go up river, without running a ground. Just as we past the bridge it was only 25'. So we kept going, really slow not to damage anything. We only made it past two more turns, then it was only 8'. Took some pictures of the day. Also i noticed that there was only about 5 feet of visibility. I could only see my downrigger clip about 5'. Maybe thats why no trout. Temperature was 76 degrees at the dam and 75 degrees up by the bridge.

kokemachine......you have just duplicated what we have been doing every weekend ! it's a blast having the "pro-bassers" watch us come by in our "trawler" and hook on to bass....... ;D

i found out from eldon at the north store that pardee is releasing water now into camanche. unfortunately, the influx of water is drawing the trout to the opposite end of the lake. if you start trolling in large circles in the middle of the lake after you launch at the north shore low water ramp.......there is a ton of trout.

anyway..... we will be on camanche tomorrow.....hopefully there will be another bass tournament.... ;D ;D

Fishjunky: Hey Kevin, its pretty low up there and lake is not very clear. I should of stayed down by the dam, but i wanted to move around and check other area's out. Good luck to you and all the other sniffers at the upcoming Fest.
