Hello,

My family & I went on vacation to the Bridgeport area the last couple of weeks in August. The weather was perfect and we never ran into any thunderstorms.
We fished Robinson Creek which was very productive. We also went north on 395 & fished the Walker River. We used a variety of lures and jigs to catch our dinner.
The stream along Sonora Pass (108) near 395 was running very low so we headed to Levitt Campground & spoke to the Camp Manager. He told us that DFG had not planted in about 3-4 months. This is probably true because the campground only had 1 camper. However, the creek which runs through Levitt Campground is exceptionally beautiful. *
These fish made a GREAT dinner!

Most excellent wefish5. Seems that Robinson's Creek has worked well for you two years in a row. Love the pictures especially the dog going after the fish. Did you get up to Vriginia Lakes this year?

Yes, our dog Squeaky really enjoyed the water. This was her 3rd time to Bridgeport & she's a great fisher-girl.
