Okay, Sorry to get your hopes up, there were no fish caught in the making of this post. Just some weeds, grass and (I wish) some water lice... Went up to Caples on Sun but they didn't open until 8AM so we decided to go to Silver. There was no luck to be had with rapalas, quick fish, flashers or Trophy Sticks... the Gods weren't in our favor. O well... here are some pics to enjoy.

Thanks for the post! From the distant shot of the shoreline it doesn't look like water level is down by much. I love Silver Lake for it's scenic views and for the occasional trout I've caught there.

Does anyone think this lake will pick up by labor day? I am trying to plan a trip for that weekend since my last one was cut short with a broken motor.

The fish from Caples are going to be transplanted in there, I certainly hope they are biting by that time ;D

Silver gets better after Larbor Day all on it's own. This year it will have a little extra help. ;D Nice pictures and story Yaya. Did well at Siver in the spring. Not so well in the summer. Fall should be killer.
