Hi all. I'm trying to remember what little I know about discharge data, river flows etc. *From what I have heard the snow was less this year so rivers that are typically high volume are now fishable, e.g. the East Carson.

This is getting fishable, right? *My understanding (may be wrong) is below 1000 cubic feet per second is good.

Thanks,

Churchster

flows are coming down due to the cold and should keep coming down all weekend. its fishable right now at below 1000 but how muddy the water is is going to be how good...hopefully some one can give a report on how muddy it is. i will be there all weekend but i'm going to be 4x4ing in way down in past hangmans bridge. good luck Colin

We went on Wednesday (check post called stockerfest '08). Water was pretty fast and stained but very fishable.

Good luck out there

Thanks all. I'm probably going to give it a week or so and fish the pools. *Boy are the years different. *I remember a few seasons back the East Carson was a raging torrent until July.
