Which ramp is in the best shape water-level-wise? Last time out, I launched at the south ramp and it was uncomfortably low. Did the storms bring the water level up much?

I haven't used the South ramp or been out in several weeks but the North ramp was fine last time I was out and that was before all the storms. The level isn't up at all which surprized me. You can check the levels at this website. http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/queryDaily?CMN&d=19-Jan-2008+07:33&span=30days

Here's a listing of other lakes.
Hope that helps...

Defender: I would highly recommend using the North Shore Ramp. Last weekend we used the South Shore Ramp and it was really really BAD!!!
There's surmerged concrete pilars and a bunch our guys ran into them. It's only 3 to 4' deep heading out to the main lake. The North Shore Ramp is better. Just launch down the middle and head straight out from the ramp until you hit the main channel. Be careful out there. Even going down the middle of the lake there are places where its only 3 to 5' deep!!

Thanks guys. I was leaning toward the North shore because of what I experienced at South. Just didn't know if North is better. Sounds like it is.
