Shaver Lake/Huntington Lake

**Kokanee ***Trout

Captain Jack Yandell boated three rainbow and two of next year's kokanee to 12 inches pulling his chartreuse Ring of Fire tipped with corn at 25 feet in depth near Dora Bella Cove and Stevenson Creek. Buck Deaner confirmed the limit fishing with Wedding Rings tipped with a hackle and a Gulp Worm behind a Vance's Blade at 15 feet for the 12- to 14-inch rainbows. Chartreuse red-dot frog Needlefish also have been working. Shaver is holding at 67% capacity. Merritt Gilbert reported limit fishing with Power Bait or Kastmasters from the banks at Huntington Lake near Lakeshore Marina. A few anglers have been pulling their small boats through the mud or launching with a 4WD searching for the large brown trout. The lake is up to 65% capacity.
