I've fished that lake many times both from boat and shore.
1/2 of a large nightcrawler inflated along with a mini marshmallow to tip the hook, will out fish the PB on any given day. 8-)
There have been too many times when folks have asked what color?.....brown is the answer.....or buttscratch if I'm feeling funny. ;) ;D

I just got back, had a couple of nice hits......I was to busy BSing with a local name Larry and missed 'em.

I guy next to the boat ramp, on the steps caught a nice 8 1/2 lb trout, yellow PB, 2 guys fishing in tubes got skunked.

Weather was nice......the new docks were supposed to open today, but they are awaiting for the pole holders, supposed to open next weekend. ;)

The rangar told me they planted 1500 lbs this past week....more to come next week

it's been slow from shore, at least to the point where no-one is getting their limits. last time i went the float tubers and folks in boats were limiting out. good luck.

How's the water level at Shadow Cliffs? *Last time there I had trouble launching and recovering boat because of low water at ramp. *Thanks. *
